Many thanks to the following founding members of NARA, for their dedication to human care regulators and the regulatory field as a whole. Their insight many years ago led to the creation of this organization that continues to grow and embody their passion for the practice of human care regulation.
NARA would not be the organization we are today without the incredible commitment and dedication, passion and vision, not to mention many tireless hours of effort and leadership, from the following Board Presidents.
Disclaimer: Thank you for visiting NARAs page outlining and highlighting our rich, vibrant, and lengthy history. We do not claim that this information is all-inclusive, or that every accomplishment is included. Our disclaimer: We do our best to maintain our historic information to the best of our ability, however, we realize that some aspects are based on the best recollections of one or more individuals, while others are substantiated and supported by more definitive records. Our focus and priority in representing NARA history is on the accomplishments and efforts of NARA as a whole and not on that of any specific individual. While some individuals are named in certain areas, we generally do not name individuals and rather prioritize our content on the work that has been done, and accomplishments that created and continue to build and strengthen our foundation and organization. Many aspects of our history are best reflected in this manner to prioritize NARA over any individual, as well as avoid differences in opinion regarding involvement and participation, and avoid offending anyone because of varying levels in the scope of involvement for many projects. For that, we defer to the acknowledgments indicated in many of our documents. In addition, we acknowledge that we are a small, yet highly productive, staff. We welcome suggested additions and proposed edits, however, we only update the information on this page periodically. In addition, we evaluate proposed additions and changes based on both the stated priorities above as well as ensuring a representation of what we believe to be the best way to represent NARAs history. Content with conflicting perspectives, limited substantiation, or which could be perceived to cause issues may not be included. Thank you for your understanding and support, as well as our appreciation to the many individuals who have been a part of creating and growing NARA over the years. Our success reflects decades of effort by many and not due to any one individual, group, or timeframe. Please send all content inquiries to [email protected].
