What’s your role at NARA and what do you find most rewarding about it?
My role is the Credential & Education Coordinator. The most rewarding part of my job is assisting others grow through education to provide best practices in assisting and providing care to our elderly and children.

In one sentence, explain NARA’s mission to someone outside the industry?
NARA's mission in plain terms and in one sentence is to provide a platform for all who work in human care to grow to higher heights while using relevant resources and training to provide quality human care.

How long have you been with NARA?
I have been assisting NARA in this capacity for close to two years now.

What’s your favorite part of your job?
Issuing credentials and updating our database are my favorite parts of the job.

If you could trade jobs with anyone at NARA for a day, whose role would you want to try and why?
Although they are big shoes to fill, I would love to trade places with our dear CEO for a day, smile. 

What’s the most common misconception people have about the regulatory world?
I would say that it is hard to understand and stay on top of the latest developments, but with the resources NARA provides to Human Care  that is not the case. 

When you’re not keeping things compliant, what’s your favorite way to unwind or recharge?
My favorite way to recharge is to take a scenic road trip.

What’s the most memorable moment you’ve had working at NARA so far?
My most memorable moment thus far was my first time working with the team to set up the main ballroom for seminar.

What’s a “fun fact” about you that no one would guess just by looking at your regulatory resume?
Fun fact is that I love boxing and get really enthusiastic while "advising" the opponents during a boxing match.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Don't worry about anything and pray about everything.
