When and where is the next Seminar?

The 2025 NARA Annual Licensing Seminar will be held September 15–17 in Norfolk, Virginia, at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott. Each year’s seminar location is announced during the Annual Luncheon on the Tuesday of the Seminar.

Can I attend virtually?

NARA offers a hybrid Annual Seminar! Virtual participants receive the same access as in-person attendees. In-person and virtual rates are identical.

What’s included in my registration fee?

Your registration fee—whether for in-person or virtual attendance—provides full access to all seminar sessions, networking events, and the exhibit hall. This includes:

Structured Networking Opportunities – Connect with regulators, industry professionals, and vendors. Virtual participants have dedicated online networking sessions.
Team Development Insights – Gain tools to improve communication, efficiency, and team performance.
Current and Future Practices Exploration – Learn about regulatory approaches from different jurisdictions and explore emerging trends.
Tools and Technologies – Meet vendors and explore innovations; virtual attendees access online demos and spotlights.
Process Improvement – Participate in sessions on administration, stakeholder engagement, and best practices.
Vendor Engagement – Connect with service providers in person or virtually.

You’ll leave with actionable knowledge, stronger connections, and valuable resources—no matter how you attend.

Will session recordings be available after the event?

Attendees will have access to all uploaded content as it becomes available and for three months post-Seminar. For 2025, access ends on December 17, 2025.

How do I become a presenter?

The call for presenters is generally open from March to April, and is currently closed. If you have a session idea, please fill out our NARA Webinar Proposal form — it may be considered for our monthly webinar series.

How do I register multiple staff members on the same invoice?

Fill out the first attendee’s information, then click "Add Linked-Profile" Or “Add Guest” at the bottom. Repeat until all staff are entered.Yes. After adding all attendees, select the “Invoice Me” option. You’ll receive one invoice for internal processing and can pay via check at your convenience.

I won the leaderboard or another prize—what now?

Does the invoice need to be paid by July 31 for the early bird rate?

No! As long as the invoice is created before July 31, the early bird rate applies.

Is there any programming for attendees on Sunday?

There is no live programming on Sunday, September 14. Check-in opens from 4:00–5:30 PM ET. Some pre-recorded sessions may be available on-demand for up to three months post-Seminar.

Is there an option to pay later?

After registration, choose to be invoiced and:

Pay now via credit card
Pay later via credit card
Pay later in person via credit card, cash, or check

Late payments do not incur penalties.

How many training hours will be offered?

Attendees may obtain approximately 20 training hours if attending all sessions.

What if I need accommodations during the event?

If you require accommodations (e.g., hearing/visual impairment, space to pump/nurse), please email Kim Halfhill at [email protected].

What meals are included?

The 2025 Seminar includes:

Daily breakfast and coffee breaks (Monday–Wednesday)
Monday reception (often used as dinner)
Tuesday lunch

Other meals are the attendee’s responsibility.

Where will I stay while attending the Seminar?
